Wireless Sensors

In this activity, learners will explore how sensors on the micro:bit, including light, temperature, sound, and touch sensors, work to collect data from the environment. Through coding, they will make sense of how the micro:bit collects and displays sensor data. As part of this exploration learners will use the micro:bit’s radio feature to wirelessly transmit the data to another device to grasp how radio technology can enhance the applications of sensors in everyday life.
