Sending Digital Images

In this activity, learners explore how modern devices share digital images. Participants are introduced to the idea of encoding information as they create pixelated images, and use a binary code to encode their images. Learners then exchange their coded images with others, and use the binary code to decode each other's images, emphasizing the term "decoding." The original and recreated images are displayed to support a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of digital information.
